Jersey City Fashion Week is produced by DLJ Give
to Live Community Foundation a project of United Charitable
Programs a registered 501 c 3 charity. Give to Lives mission to to
support charitable causes through fashion, sports and
entertainment. In 2015 the fashion week will be in its fifth
showcase and fourth year. In 2014 Jersey City Fashion Week donated
to charities that assisted the sick and disabled or are in the area
of health and wellness including the Mo Hair Foundation and the
Concordia Learning Center at the St. Joseph’s School for the Blind.
In 2015 JCFW will donate to groups that help the homeless. Please

JCFW September 2015 Fashion in the Park- Seeking Designers for our International Designer Showcase, Children’s Fashion Event, VIP (Celebrity Designer) and Couture Showcase, Emerging Designer Fashion Show and Boutiques for our Sunday Fashion Brunch held during the week of September 23rd to September 27th 2015 Casting dates 1 to 4 pm May 9, June 13 & July 11 Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, 225 Morris Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Designers may apply on line by submitting photos or electronic portfolio or website address of work to be considered to designers@dljsec.com. Please include a biography about you and your line(please include the number of years you have been a designer and/or in business), your website address and social media links and at least five pictures of your clothing, why you want to be in JCFW and a picture of you. Please note there is a registration fee to participate. Designers will be contacted if you are accepted to be in a showcase or have to come to the casting. Creative Runway: Where the Student Creates the Runway- Young Designer contest for High School and College Designers. The contest will be held on 9/25/2014 at 6 pm at New Jersey City University. JCFW September 2015 Model Castings: 1 to 4 pm on May 9, June 13 & July 11 2015 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, 225 Morris Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Men and women needed, preferably 5’7 and above. Bring comp card of head shot and body shot or a photograph. Ladies bring heels to walk. All models must fill out Model Registration Form and email it to models@dljsec.com or bring it with you to the audition. If chosen to participate models must sell tickets (purchase tickets wholesale) for the show. Please RSVP that you are attending the casting with the date by sending an email to models@dljsec.com. JCFW Model Coordinator’s are Aida Rodriquez, Hope Jefferson and Samanta Samuels. JCFW Model Captain’s are Angel Rodriquez and Stewella Daville. Children’s Model Casting for Children’s Event. JCFW Hair and Makeup Casting: 1 to 4 pm May 9, June 13 & July 11 Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, 225 Morris Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07302. There will be a casting for Hair Stylist and Make up Artist on TBA. Hair Stylist and Make up Artist interested in participating in our Fashion Week must send at least five pictures of your work to hsmua@dljsec.com. We will contact you if you have to appear at our casting. Please note that participation is voluntary. We look forward to working with you! JCFW Lead Make-up Artist is Erica Maisonet-Romero and JCFW Lead Hair Stylist is Tennille Perkins.

Vendor Gift Bag and Journal Registration Form Night of Lights Participants PLEASE NOTE DEADLINE IS August 28th, 2015 FOR NIGHT OF LIGHTS PARTICIPATION During the Night of Lights we encourage people to shop and dine! Establishments normally offer discounts to patrons to get them out or have a special event on this evening during JCFW. As a Night of Lights participant you will be listed as part of this on the JCFW event bright page and website, be part of a map of places we will ask people to go to on that evening at specific times to check out your business establishment and receive a quarter page journal advertisement. Please fill out this form to register NOL Registration Form ****Designers, Models and Vendors will have to sign a separate agreement before participating.

We also gave to the Boys and Girls Club Teenage Leadership Group the Keystone Griffiths. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness as well as to support charitable causes, events and needs of people in some of the following areas: sports, athletics, education, religion, poverty, homelessness, socio-economically depressed areas, law enforcement, the arts, sick and disabled people, children,young adults, students, women and the elderly through fashion, sports and entertainment.
JCFW in 2012 donated $900 each to Dress for Success of Hudson County, York Street Project, Boys and Girls Clubs of Hudson County and Art House Productions all located in Jersey City. JCFW in 2013 donated to Rising Tide Capital and The Hope Center for the Visual and Performing Arts both located in Jersey City.

Live Foundation will present donation checks to Football Fashion
Week Charities.
Today at City Hall DLJ Give to Live Community Foundation Program
Manager and Founder of Jersey City Fashion Week Desha Jackson
donated to three charities highlighted during the January 2014 Pre-
Super Bowl Football Fashion Week Program. GridIron Group
which provides football camps for inner city children, Jersey City
Recreation Foundation and the NY/NJ SnowFlake Youth Foundation.
“We hope these donations continue to help children and the recreational activities your groups provide to them here in Jersey City and beyond. The Super Bowl provided us with a great opportunity to give back and bring attention to the work being done for children by these groups, says Desha Jackson, JCFW Founder
Give to Live Foundation, producers of Jersey City Fashion Week,
Atlantic City Fashion Week, and BK Style Foundation, producers of
Fashion Week Brooklyn, collaborated during Football
Fashion Week to restore and rebuild the community by exposing art
and fashion by emerging designers to raise money for local
non-profits. 2014 Football Fashion Week was
supported by the City of Jersey City, Mayor Steven Fulop,
City Council of Jersey City and the Division of Cultural Affairs of
Jersey City!
